Worked on research related to learning and memory in the brain in the lab of Dr. Hyungbae Kwon. Performed behavioral experiments with mice to examine the neural circuitry and activation responsible for different behaviors, including testing memory-guided escape to shelter from threat, testing social interaction between mice, and testing mouse memory on a ball maze with reward. Performed surgery on mice, including stereotaxic virus injection and implantation of various optogenetic and photometry fibers, as well as head plate and cranial window implantation.
