I am a software engineer at Kaluza, a leading technology platform for the zero-carbon energy transition. I have a bachelor's degree in economics and computer science from McGill University, where I developed a strong foundation in programming, data analysis, and problem-solving.At Kaluza, I work as part of a small team of developers on the payments team, where I help to maintain services that handle over £4 billion in annual payments. I have assisted in resolving a series of high-profile incidents in the payments space, especially those related to debt management. I have also helped to rapidly build and deploy resilient features required by Ofgem among the ongoing energy crisis. Previously, I worked as a software developer at Garner Distributed Workflow, where I introduced a series of end-to-end tests, streaming solutions, and security improvements. I also led several "lunch and learn" sessions with a focus on Scala, Dhall, and ZIO concepts. I am passionate about creating scalable, reliable, and efficient software solutions that make a positive impact on the environment and society. I value teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the projects I work on.
