I seek a position where I can have the greatest impact toward making human life on Earth more sustainable and delightful. I'm driven by insatiable curiosity and a love for the natural and human worlds. I want to maximize my impact in creating a more sustainable, more just and equitable world we can all share without scarcity or fear.Since 2006 I have explored the fields of renewable energy and energy conservation, first as a PV and solar thermal systems installer, then as a renewable energy components & systems salesman, then as an instructor and curriculum developer; most recently I've dived into the world of building science and energy efficiency, leading to a position as weatherization auditor, culminating in achieving the BPI Home Energy Professional Energy Auditor certification.I've worked in the energy conservation sector as a subcontractor and consultant in home energy efficiency. In recent years I've gained a keen interest in systems of sustainability, specifically in the building sector (modular home design, 3D printing, hemp and other carbon-capture materials) but also in loop-closing technologies like reclaimed/repurposed plastics.I have also worked extensively in the seemingly unrelated performing arts sector as an actor, voiceover artist, and theatre creator. As our modern digital world has flourished, many (as myself) now see the deeply intrinsic relationship that exists—is inherent—between the storytelling arts and the world of branding in modern commerce. The relationships we seek to build in emergent scalable economic systems are all about telling stories! As it turns out, I am a professional storyteller.It is demonstrably true that these two pathways are deeply interrelated. I seek to expand my skills and knowledge and share them as widely as possible in order to foment the Sustainability Revolution. I want to tell the stories that bring people to action—whether that means making a purchase decision or a lifestyle change or an investment. My interests range across the broad fields of energy and sustainability with particular interests in sustainable building technology, energy & resource conservation and efficiency, and renewable energy. I like to think we're all working toward a shared vision of sustainability consciousness.
