Hi, I'm Benjamin Harris, I grew up in a small market town called Caldicot in Monmouthshire, South Wales. I have a profound passion for policy and public affairs, and I've dedicated my career to making meaningful impacts in the realm of government and advocacy.My journey in policy and public affairs has taken me through the corridors of power in both devolved institutions and Westminster. With a keen eye for strategic engagement and a knack for navigating complex political landscapes, I've worked tirelessly to amplify the voices of those in need.For over a year now, my primary focus has been spearheading the campaign for the continuation of the Children's Hospice Grant for the 24/25 financial year. Through dedicated advocacy efforts, I'm thrilled to share that our campaign has been successful, ensuring vital support for children's hospices. Beyond this, I've diligently expanded political stakeholder networks for our organisation and led engaging initiatives to elevate the discourse on children's hospice care in Westminster and local authorities.In addition to my advocacy endeavors, I've delved deep into policy analysis and research, particularly concerning children's palliative care. By staying abreast of evolving policy landscapes, I strive to inform impactful decision-making and drive positive change in this critical area.In my spare time, you can often find me in the local, or mooching around antique and charity shops!
