Continuation of my contracted position into a full time employment opportunity with Safco Products.More responsibilities with the ability to take on projects on my own, and be reached out to directly to provide help for projects for the engineers and product managers in our main office as well as our manufacturing facility in Iowa from drawing updates, creating new parts/assemblies/drawings, creating/updating instructions, utilizing the PCN & ECO process, and providing technical support.Lead the drafting group to organize and facilitate goals for the fiscal year by providing more upfront work in determining DXF/DWG to export to PDFs so more people have the ability to open drawings on their own, set up a Microsoft Team to create a file repository system for Marketing & Space Planning to use whatever STEP files we have created and request/schedule when they need new STEP files that have not yet been created.

Working alongside the engineering department and closely with the quality control, project management, and product development team to produce assembly instructions within Adobe InDesign utilizing SolidWorks models and assemblies for the end-user of a Safco product.Produce models, assemblies, and drawings within SolidWorks for internal processes like assembly instructions, space planning, etc., and external processes such as sourcing, manufacturing, etc.

A bait shop that provided customers with bait, snacks, boating equipment, and gas for their boats if they pulled up to the end of the dock on the lake, also rented out boats. Communicated with customers so they had the best possible experience in the shop by making sure everything was stocked, I could answer their questions, and it was a speedy experience. Also inspected boats for boat rentals making sure their boat was clean and maintained, along with teaching the customers how to drive the boat and give them more information about the lake itself so they had the best possible experience with our company and service. Responsible for behind the scenes operations such as organizing rental reservations, reordering bait, tackle, etc. for customers, and making sure that inventory and office systems are in check using our Shopkeep service.

Drove around Southeastern Wisconsin, ranging as far north as Sheboygan, as far South as Kenosha, and as far East as Madison, where I would operate an industrial sprayer on a truck to spray customers yards and homes for mosquitos, bees, wasps, beetles, etc. to effectively get rid of them for a couple months until the next application. Also went around in that same area visiting potential customers and quoting their yards for what they needed and negotiate a price and move them into the schedule if they wished to get an application.

Started off working as a store clerk bagging groceries for customers, pushing carts, cleaning spills and bathrooms and helping customers find what they needed around the store. Eventually, I became more of a floating worker where I would work in all the other departments, meat, bakery, stocking, dairy, frozen, and floral where I would help them produce what their department produced or stock the shelves in the store and clean up as well.
