Prior to joining Salus, Ben was Assistant Vice President, Underwriting, at First Niagara Commercial Finance, where he was responsible for the management of the financial analytics as it relates to the underwriting of asset-based loans to commercial, industrial, retail, and wholesale companies. Previously, Ben was a Business Development Officer in the Mutual Funds Division of John Hancock, where he aided in establishing and maintaining relationships with investment executives. Ben holds an M.B.A. from Boston University and a B.A. from New York University.

The Underwriting AVP is primarily responsible for the management of the financial analytics as it relates to the underwriting of Asset-Based loans to commercial, industrial, retail, and wholesale companies; while ensuring compliance with appropriate Bank and regulatory standards.
