Leading aviation company Skyservice Business Aviation made an investment in December 2023 to acquire the majority interest in Fontainebleau Aviation’s fixed-based operator (FBO) at Opa-Locka, FL Airport and the development project at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. This venture marks the first co-development project between Skyservice and Fontainebleau Development as the companies join forces to create Florida’s ultimate private aviation gateway for leisure and business travel.

We are able to leverage our own capital, decades of industry experience, vast transaction and deal-making capacity, operational integrity and environmental conscience to move quickly and advantageously in the marketplace, resulting in fluid, ethical transactions for our clients and industry colleagues.■ Personally completed over 75 aircraft transacitons with a gross profit margin of over $12.67 million.■ Leveraged expertise to import/export multiple aircraft from China.■ At the request of the Carlyle Private Equity company, was asked to establish an Asset Management division for the acquisition of GE Capital Leasing which was later named Global Jet Capital, in particular identifying which aircraft to be re-deployed as net earning assets. In 2016, sold or re-leased over 30+ aircraft in inventory work over $200M in value to new clients. ■ At Global Jet Capital oversaw all post-lease aircraft sales and dispositions and made all of the technical maintenance decisions and managed the MRO third party relationships on behalf of the organization.

CapStreet Private Equity Group hired me to perform evaluations on companies identified as potential acquisition targets. After conducting due diligence, we decided to acquire Red Aviation and I was chosen as the organization’s first board member.Later tapped to serve as interim CEO (and then asked to stay on as permanent CEO), I focused on stabilizing the company’s finances. In addition to restoring profitability in the first six months, I streamlined the back office operations (finance, legal, HR, sales, customer support, and IT functions) of the three portfolio businesses, centralizing them into a single shared-service platform.

The Carlyle Private Equity Group recruited me to drive the overall business strategy for the second largest aircraft management company in the United States. I launched a series of initiatives that rapidly improved company operations. In addition to a 61% increase in first-year profits, my actions helped to cut client attrition 82%.In addition to these wins, I am most proud of my role in securing the largest sale in industry history. After overhauling the company, it was successfully positioned for a $2.2 billion sale.

NetJets, Inc. is the world’s largest private aviation company, wholly owned by Berkshire Hathaway. Hired as Regional Vice President, I quickly advanced to become President and CEO of Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets. In 18 months, we doubled revenue, modernized internal processes, and improved sales team performance. This track record of consistent gains led to my next role within NetJets. I was personally asked by Warren Buffet and David Sokol to reorganize the company. As President and COO, I served as the face of the organization while establishing a multiyear strategy to drive sales and operations improvements. Implementation of the plan quickly led to an increase in profits and cash reserves.
