Recognizing a need for change within the pharmacy supply chain I decided to join 3 Axis Advisors to connect pharmacy claims data to people equally committed to getting the healthcare transaction right. My responsibilities include data analysis, clinical evidence evaluation, and project management. Prior to joining 3 Axis Advisors, I was the Clinical Account Manager for Change Healthcare, the pharmacy processor for the Ohio Department of Medicaid Fee-for-Service (aka Traditional Medicaid). My responsibilities included monitoring claims processing activities, monitoring prior authorization determinations, and support of both the Ohio DUR Board and Ohio P&T Committee. My most exciting work during that time was a change in reimbursement methodology, support of the NCPDP ePA standard, and support of the Unified Preferred Drug List (UPDL) initiative. I am fortunate enough to have been involved with the practice of pharmacy since I was 18 years old and have experienced the practice from the point of view of patient, pharmacy technician, pharmacy intern, pharmacist, assistant pharmacy manager (retail), clinical pharmacist (Workers' Comp and Medicaid) and clinical account manager (Medicaid). I received my degree as a Doctor of Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University with a minor in Spanish Language. Father to Oliver & Wyatt.
