Serving as a representative of the Student Body for Grand Valley State University. During my tenure, I worked with the University to successfully un-ban the use of pepper spray for self defense of students and individuals on campus. Additional responsibilities included responding to student issues and questions about university services and projects. Within the Senate, I was seated on the Finance Committee and worked throughout the year to properly appropriate, distribute, and provide oversight to the spending of the yearly Senate $1.5 Million budget.
