As the son of a lawyer and psychologist, my parents instilled a passion for education and encouraged me to continually challenge myself in and out of the classroom. I played soccer through the collegiate level and majored in Finance as I've always had an affinity for mathematics. After college, I began working in private wealth management, moving from associate investment consultant to VP of Investments over a 5-year period.π…π‘πŽπŒ πˆππ•π„π’π“πŒπ„ππ“π’ π“πŽ π…πˆππ€ππ‚π„ π‹π„π€πƒπ„π‘π’π‡πˆπAfter that, opportunities to consult were knocking at my door so I spent a year running an advisory firm with a former classmate, helping tech startups raise capital, create pitch decks, and develop financial systems. At the same time, I was finishing up my MBA degree and then landed an amazing role with DirecTV as a Director in their Finance group. π…πˆππ€ππ‚π„ π’π“π‘π€π“π„π†π˜ 𝐀𝐓 πƒπˆπ‘π„π‚π“π•Over the course of 10 years I worked across all areas of DirecTV, filling in gaps in management structure and identifying areas of opportunity for margin improvement. As Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, I managed teams, supervised long-term P&L forecasts, and was the go-to person for high profile M&A and business case evaluation. π…πˆππ€ππ‚π„ π‹π„π€πƒπ„π‘π’π‡πˆπ 𝐀𝐓 π†π”π“π‡π˜|π‘π„ππŠπ„π‘Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with every conceivable part of finance, acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and advising them on decisions that improve performance and develop new products.
