Box, 1976I am a biostatistician based at Education Futures, University of South Australia.Working predominantly in researching early child health and epidemiology, I have vast interests in population health, early interventions, and equity. Biostatistician
Biostatistician
My role is to provide statistical support to a small team of child health researchers where the variation in activities is wide, from making evidence based policy recommendations, to preparing journal manuscripts. An early highlight was providing statistical expertise to the Royal Commission into Early Childhood Education and Care. My personal goals are to apply causal methods to the child health space and answer the research questions that have been left unanswered. This is driven through a passion for the ethical need for the maximisation of data reuse in a world where data is being collected but under utilised. Concurrently I manage a large data linkage project in partnership with the Department for Education, South Australia, and Australian Research Data Commons.See more here: https://people.unisa.edu.au/Benjamin.Lam
