My role is to provide statistical support to a small team of child health researchers where the variation in activities is wide, from making evidence based policy recommendations, to preparing journal manuscripts. An early highlight was providing statistical expertise to the Royal Commission into Early Childhood Education and Care. My personal goals are to apply causal methods to the child health space and answer the research questions that have been left unanswered. This is driven through a passion for the ethical need for the maximisation of data reuse in a world where data is being collected but under utilised. Providing analytical support for the TEACH secondary tool across South Pacific nations including Tonga, Kiribati, RMI, and Fiji.

I worked across multiple projects both locally and internationally providing data analysis and methodological plans. This role was to provide statistical support to a small and nimble project team to evaluate the causal effect of school meals on stunting in children in northern Lao PDR through retrospective data analysis.

In this role I provided statistical support to a variety of projects focussed on the behavioural aspects of diabetes including analysis of large, multicenter registered clinical trials, and general statistical methodology and implementation
