Ben has logged thousands of hours in operating rooms observing and participating in surgical development and clinical trials, and he has earned a reputation for his own microsurgical skills in pre-clinical labs and studies.A product creator and executive with a deep appreciation for both science and art, Ben is equally passionate about photography, travel, and blacksmithing. Ben has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Cincinnati-based non-profit Design Impact, which applies the same user-centered design philosophy used in industry but turns the focus to the social sector to solve some of the most intractable challenges in America's cities and countrysides.
