- Performed substantial analysis and legal research to enforce U.S. Trade Laws through the conduct of antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) proceedings.- Interpreted and applied U.S. AD/CVD duty laws, regulations, policies, and precedents through the analysis of foreign companies' and governments' questionnaire responses, performing quantitative data analysis of accounting records, the use of SAS and Excel to calculate dumping margins and subsidy rates, and preparing and reviewing documents to issue statutory agency determinations.- Experience conducting proceedings in market economy (ME) AD, non-market economy (NME) AD, and CVD methodologies, including investigations, administrative reviews, and circumvention inquiries. Examples of casework include, but are not limited to, Hydrofluorocarbon Blends from China, Small Vertical Shaft Engines from China, Frozen Warmwater Shrimp from Thailand, Utility Scale Wind Towers from Indonesia, and Circular Welded Carbon-Quality Steel Pipe from the United Arab Emirates, R-125 from China, Steel Nails from Turkey. - Worked simultaneously on multiple cases and projects to complete agency determinations in accordance with statutory and regulatory deadlines.- Briefed senior government officials on pertinent case issues to determine the appropriate course of action to meet agency policy goals as well as to maintain consistency with past agency practice.- Led on-site verification of foreign companies’ questionnaire responses and accounting records.- Provided training, advice, and assistance to other analysts, includes training in AD/CVD analysis, U.S. Trade Law, Global Trade Atlas (GTA) trade data platform, SAS Enterprise Guide, and Microsoft SharePoint.
