The WASH in Emergency Field Coordinator is the lead WASH technical position in the field, taking both technical responsibilities, as well as managerial and programmatic aspects of the program. The WASH in emergency field coordinator will leads assessments, facilitate training sessions, and supervise the technical aspects of WASH programs in the country of deployment. In addition, the WASH in Emergency Field Coordinator manages and leads content development and provides capacity building activities and programs, in line with the organization’s established policies, principles, and operating practices.Detailed responsibilities:1.Develop and use appropriate monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) tools.● Conduct Rapid WASH needs assessment and stakeholder analysis.● Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation processes and procedures are followed for each program.● Develop MEAL strategy, methodologies and relevant tools to measure the impact of the program.● Identify Lessons Learned for the program and successfully communicate them in a variety of mediums.● Ensure a proper risk assessment and mitigation strategy is developed for each program, project and activity and is constantly monitored.2. I will oversee the WASH in Healthcare Facilities Project, for health facilities destroyed since the Tropical Cyclone Harold, in the following aspects:- Preparation of designs and BoQs for the various sites and structures.- Procurement processes for WASH equipment and supplies.- Preparation of scopes of works for sites for use by various site supervisor as per contracts.- Oversight for construction activities at the various sites as per approved designs, supervise and support to the field supervisor teams.- Coordination and logistical support to the field teams.

As a Volunteer Translator, I support preparation of write-ups for publishing and translate original articles into Kiswahili (also keeping a keen eye on the French Translations as I am learning my French) and produce educational and engaging photo stories and videos. Through WSP, I am involved in collaboration with international and local organisations to help them reach their target audience, investigate water and sanitation related stories, help develop the right policies for the right context and create text-based and graphic content around water. All WSP content is free to read and view, so that everyone can access the latest water-related news, research, and policy insights from around the world.WSP also strives to build meaningful partnerships and projects around local and regional water solutions, including with partners such as United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, Stockholm International Water Institute, Water Integrity Network, and the World Photography Organisation.

As the Secretary to the ESK Board, I manage all communication functions of the Society. I am involved in day to day support of ensuring that members and applicants' requests are responded to in a timely manner, provide any additional information or documents to an individual about membership or institutional requests for membership, or links to any resource that may be available within the Society.I manage dissemination of calls for M&E professional career, personal development and networking opportunities and prepare organizational briefs such as newsletters and participate in a variety of committees that prepare crucial Society documents and overall Society strategic direction.The specific roles are as below: - Taking and keeping all official minutes of the Society Board meetings and the Association business meetings- Issuing invitations and notifications as required by the society Board- Maintaining a current list of members- Publishing the annual membership database for both paid and non-paid members- Publishing reports on the Society membership growth- Performing any other other duties as may be assigned by the Society Board
