As a salesperson for Culver’s, I worked in the nursery department selling trees and shrubbery. Every day I got to meet and network with many guests, many of which would ask for me when they would stop by. It was an incredible experience getting to work and collaborate with so many outstanding people. I made lasting connections through both customers and employees. I loved getting to work outside all summer, especially after the year of COVID that kept everyone inside for so long. I helped water plants, prune plants, and sell many different varieties of trees and landscaping greenery. As a self-employed landscaper I helped those in my neighborhood do tasks that were otherwise unachievable. Many of my clients needed help with smaller tasks like raking or mowing. For others, I helped lay gravel, move cement blocks, and re-seed their yards. Overall, it was an amazing experience getting to work with many unique and interesting people (and getting free cookies and hot chocolate was a bonus).
