In this role I am the face of the faculty and the first point of contact for students in the Business and Economics Faculty who need assistance. Students rely on our accurate and important advice which is given face-to-face, online or over the phone.

• Developed my understanding of financial reporting methodology in relation to life insurance. I learnt about reporting using Margin on Services(MoS) and then had to teach what I learnt to other colleagues. • Successfully created a tool which can verify and analyse LS claims experience from various sources of data. • Participated in developing the 2018 ICAAP report which involved understanding the various Life Prudential Standards that govern the report as well as the models which are used in the capital reporting process.

I was part of a team of Interns who was accountable for organising, collecting and displaying data in a large scale data mining project. I worked closely with one of the Senior Actuaries and Product Actuaries to ensure we efficiently and effectively captured all relevant information. Later I joined the Experience Investigation team, here I compared new and old claims data over a 5 year period and reconciled any variations. I was also tasked with writing instructions for preparing and cleaning claims data to be sent to the reinsurance company. I was able to successfully filter the policies and provide the correct policies to the reinsurance company.
