I provided critical, time-sensitive research and data analysis support on a diverse set of projects, oftentimes requiring unique and innovative solutions to data acquisition, storage, and management.

I provided research support and in-depth analysis regarding opportunities for organizations to transition away from the extraction, sale, and use of fossil fuels.

I spent time combining datasets from various enumerators involved with a public works project in Malawi, then coding or re-coding a number of variables, in particular variables that had been entered as strings. I then spent some time checking the combined dataset for consistency in various aspects. I oversaw the coding of many text-based variables by seeking out relevant terms in the responses and grouping them so that quantifiable information could be interpreted. As I became increasingly familiar with the dataset I was able to provide insights and observations regarding interesting or peculiar aspects of the data. I was also tasked with reviewing literature that was suspected of being relevant to the topic at hand, as well as searching for other relevant literature. I condensed this information and sorted it into relevant sub-categories in order to provide as much background as possible on the topic. The findings provided insights into additional information that could possibly be gleaned from the dataset.

I initially was tasked with the cleanup of several dozen projects that had been completed in the previous few years but never closed or billed. During this time I helped to install a more organized and deliberate system for tracking the status of all projects in order to avoid future issues with project delivery and late-billing.My primary task during my time in this position was the scheduling and tracking of a network of field service technicians. I primarily worked in the automitive industry, where it was essential that service was coordinated perfectly in order for the customer to avoid costly shutdowns of high-volume manufacturing lines. Thus I kept in daily contact with the technicians and provided them with up-to-date schedules and calendars, all while maintaining a balance between their needs and customer requests. I was oftentimes tasked with negotiating with the customer in order to provide all relevant parties with the optimal solution to both last-minute and ongoing requests.

I was tasked with managing all aspects of project delivery for private and government organizations seeking intelligent transportation system (ITS) displays for roadways or bus/train stations. The upfront work included seeking out potential opportunities, accurately estimating the monetary and material requirements, and providing timely, detailed, and competitive bids to the customers.Once projects were booked, I was tasked with providing the project team with detailed requirements and managing both company capacity constraints and customer delivery expectations. I also managed the billing and follow-up of all customer accounts. In order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction while managing dozens of projects simultaneously, I developed a system of project status tracking.
