My Costa Rican and American heritage pushed me to see the global nature of the world at a young age. I saw the interconnectedness of people, business, and the environment. My various travels to Costa Rica, a beautiful and raw landscape, and around the world, inspired my love for nature. Due to this, I pursued a career in sustainability. In my current role, I work with executives and senior leaders to reduce risk in our business operations, build brand value, and holistically report business performance through environmental, social, and governance (ESG) indicators. My background in sustainability and in ESG reporting helps me look at businesses through a systems thinking lens. I see the details and the big picture at the same time. I will continue to utilize these skills to create sustainable change.
