Due to the successful expansion of the Midea brand business in Chile, I was invited to the global marketing department of Midea headquarters in China as responsible for developing Midea international sales & marketing operational excellence. My focus was to implement international planning and go-to-market programs and tools, while also overseeing strategic subsidiaries to accelerate their market penetration.

Transferred from Brazil to launch the Midea brand business in Chile, I was responsible for the home appliances business right from the introduction in the country, including the strategy planning, launching the brand and leading its introduction into the customers, managing sales and marketing teams, developing the product portfolio, while also supporting the transformation of the overall operation to succeed (logistics, aftersales, among others).

Joined the company to develop the marketing department at Midea during the first years of the brand introduction in Brazil. With the main goal to increase the brand awareness and consideration as well as its sell-out capabilities, leaded the branding, trade marketing, product marketing and consumer service functions, including the overall department planning, budgeting and performance measuring.

I was directly responsible for building competitive advantages for the business and developing marketing strategies to drive growth internationally, leading the product marketing, communications, competitive intelligence and strategic alliances functions.

I was appointed to manage the top revenue value-added services of the mobile company at the time, including text and multimedia messaging. My main responsibility was to expand the revenue stream and attract new users though several activities, including product planning and intelligence, promotional strategy design and roll-out, as well as the coordination of launching campaigns with multiple internal teams and partners.
