Viral Vegans is a Finnish animal-rights organization with a mission to ensure that by 2030, 50% of school meals in Finland are plant-based and 8% of the population adopts a plant-based diet. Our broader vision is to develop a scalable blueprint based on Finland's success, enabling other organizations to promote plant-based eating and school meals globally.Our three core areas are plant-based policy work (universities, companies, & events), vegan education (non-fiction books, school visits, & guides), and content creation (TikTok videos, podcasts, & food reviews).Viral Vegans combines institutional and individual-focused advocacy to create a vegan-friendly future. We are seeking funding to expand our reach and sustain our initiatives. Our team is agile and cost-effective, driven by a passion for animal rights. Our work has been supported by US-based foundations and the European Union funds.On August 21st, I will release "Rakkaat eläimet, joita syömme" a non-fiction book co-authored with Pavel Tahkovuori and published by Into, one of Finland's leading publishers.
