Key achievements and projects include:• Australian Extractive Industries Delegation, 2014 – The Australian Extractive Industries delegation was Australia’s largest business delegation to Myanmar and was co-hosted by the Australian trade commission. The Delegation was led by the Chairman (NSW & ACT) of ANZ Bank and brought together 20 Australian companies with a market capitalisation of over $110 billion. The Delegation met with over 150 industry representatives and another 100 government representatives.• Networks Through Skills Development Program, 2014 — I coordinated the funding proposal for this Australian Government Grant Program administered by the Australian Trade Commission. McConnell Dowell Construction, Woodside Petroleum and Aurecon Engineering Australia presented to the Myanmar Government on developing effective onshore infrastructure in the oil and gas industry.• Myanmar Ministry of Mining Delegation, 2013 — The Australia-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce provided advice and has facilitated a trade delegation of the Ministry of Mines, Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development and the Myanmar Investment Commission. The Chamber provided advice on effective ASEAN Chairing procedures, business and foreign investment laws in Australia and processes for the transfer of knowledge and skills in key areas of corporate governance and social responsibility. -
