A dialect and voice coach based in Sydney. I have coached actors, musical theatre performers, and voice over artists, and have also worked privately with clients from corporate fields such as law, education, medicine, and advertising. I have taught voice and accent for children, teenagers, and adults at Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), The Voice Booth, Charles Sturt University, ED5International, and the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). Dialect and voice coaching credits include: 'MRock' for ATYP; 'Picnic at Hanging Rock', 'Breaking the Code', and 'Glengarry Glen Ross' for New Theatre; 'The Pass' for Fixed Foot Productions; 'Chef' for Virginia Plain Theatre; and 'Poirot’s First Case' and 'The Secret of Chimneys' for Genesian Theatre. I also serve on the editorial board of The Voice and Speech Review, an international journal for the voice and dialect industry.

I have engaged in freelance and contract work as a linguistic researcher and consultant for global clients on language, speech, text-to-speech, and localisation projects in Australia and internationally, including Lionbridge/TELUS International (Finland), SIDE Studios/Pole-to-Win International (UK), WeLocalize (US), and Oxford University Press (UK). I am a reviewer for MDPI Journals.

I have worked on the Sydney Speaks project since 2014 as Lead RA, involved in transcription, annotation, data collection, analysis and disseminating research findings at conferences and in publications. A 2020 paper on using sociolinguistic analysis of Australian English vowels within the dialect coaching industry, co-authored with Sydney Speaks colleagues Professor Catherine Travis and Dr James Grama, was nominated for the Voice and Speech Review’s Dudley Knight Award for Outstanding Vocal Scholarship.
