Shadowed radiographers to understand how they interact with patients and also learnt the technologies behind the different medical diagnostic modalities such as: PET-CT, MRI, Ultrasound and X-ray.Interacted with radiologists to understand their work better as well as learn some basics of how they classify disease data based imaging obtained from the radiographers.Thereafter was rotated to operations to understand the flow of work in a healthcare environment setting as well as bring in enabling technologies to make said workflows more efficient. Overall the experience left me with a better understanding of the technology and work processes behind a patient's journey from scanning to diagnosis and a better appreciation for the healthcare systems that work to make such services possible.
