Hi there! My name is Benjamin Horne, I'm currently a senior landscape architect at Hassell Studio & course coordinator at RMIT currently tutoring communications, theoretical frameworks and environments in the landscape architectural bachelors stream. Small scale constructed works include the curation and design of a Melbourne Music Week event in collaboration with Melbourne-based record label Innocuous in November 2014. A not for profit bi-monthly pop up organisation curated by Benjamin through-out 2015 titled “free//” focused on dividing the line between the homeless society and general public through event based urbanism strategies. The curation of space for the latest Boiler Room Event that took place at The Nightcat in Fitzroy in November 2016 with South London’s Rhythm Section records. As well as the installed of Frame Melbourne project in collaboration with RMIT Urban Surfaces and Lendlease, where at 17m hoarding has just been installed on the Cnr of Flinders & Spencer Street in the Melbourne CBD.Large scale completed works include multiple years on large scale infrastructure projects within the Melbourne Metro & Level Crossing Moving Authority, along side years on smaller scale high end commercial & retail architectural builds // more information to come on this one in the coming months.
