• Part of the Government Relations team advocating on a state and county level for the needs and priorities of agriculture. • Support the various local county-level Farm Bureaus with administrative and informational assistance. • Develop a variety of networking and collaboration opportunities for the various Farm Bureau members within my region. • Host of the WFB Update podcast where we share important agriculture news and share stories of what farmers and ranchers are doing throughout the state.

• Responsible for communicating with constituents effectively and quickly via email, mail, and/or phone. • Collaborate and provide feedback to the Representative regarding legislation, policies, and committee work. • Interact with the Legislators and Agency Liaisons to assist in policy efforts and casework. • Handled all of the constituent casework that was initiated by individuals needing assistance with state agencies. • Oversee/coordinate the Representative’s schedule. • Handle all office work and oversee Interns with the office. • Assist the Representative with the preparation, brainstorming, and wording of legislation. • Meet with constituents and lobbyists regarding issues and legislation on the Representative's behalf. • Keep track of all of the Representative's legislation as well as bills that are of importance to the member during the session.

• Conducted door-to-door campaigning and material distribution for Representative MacEwen and his campaign for the Washington House of Representatives. • Assisted with the database and spreadsheets regarding the contact information of donors and contributors.• Answered calls as well as responded to correspondence by authoring letters and emails to those interested in the candidate’s campaign and platform. • I would speak to groups regarding the candidate’s platform and position on various issues.

• Responsible for developing and overseeing the small group community for the church. • Develop the structure, forms, and content of each session of Growth Groups within the church. • Routinely preach and lead services at the church.

• Oversaw the operations of the three homeless shelter facilities and the community food bank.• Developed the mission and vision for Cove House and provided the organizations needed 5 year plan. • Partnered and networked with various ministries and organizations to aid in the work of Cove House.• Envisioned and executed the development and operation of a free community clinic for our city and a long-term transitional housing program to assist individuals in regaining their lives. • Develop new programs and projects for the betterment of Cove House such as Project Intercession, counseling, life skills training, etc.

• Receive, process and distribute all the incoming casework to the appropriate Caseworker.• Serve part-time in the copacity of Office Manager insuring that the office functions properly and oversees the Internship Program. • Personally review and mediate high profile or urgent casework as well as directly assist the Director of Constituent Services.

• Interaction with local, state, and federal government agencies on a daily basis through phone calls, written letters, and in-office visits.• Daily oversight of casework that is processed through the Congressman’s office. I have personally monitored, mediated and resolved over 520 cases within the Congressman's office. • I managed all casework involving the Dept. of Homeland Security, Social Security, Department of Labor, Medicare, IRS and other federal agencies. • I communicated with constituents regarding their comments and concerns.• Through daily letter writing and telephone conversations with my constituents and agency liaisons, I have gained excellent communication abilities. • I often represented the Congressman at various functions and events. • For a period, I served as the military liaison and handled casework for veterans and current service members. I arranged for awarded medals and oversaw the Veteran’s History Project.
