I became a member of the Board of Directors for REACH for Uganda in March 2024. REACH partners with communities in rural Uganda to improve the quality of their daily lives and realize their future potential through improved education, healthcare, and community development. I am currently raising money to provide potable water to 3 schools and 2 clinics funded by REACH for Uganda and 26 outreach schools that REACH for Uganda supports.I serve as Vice President of Voodoo Robotics, an industry leader in supply chain automation that leverages the Internet of Things. Prior to joining Voodoo Robotics, I was a lead business and systems analyst for approximately 25 years on custom software development and business process definition projects, mostly for Federal government clients, primarily for Oracle Corporation and Booz Allen Hamilton. I performed full life-cycle activities on most projects, including requirements gathering, business process analysis and process-flow diagramming, system logical design, logical and physical data modeling, reference data development, and technical and user documentation. I also have extensive experience in requirements and test management, graphical user interface design (and wireframing), SQL and PL/SQL development, and Unified Modeling Language (UML). Specialties included Systems Analysis, System Design, Logical Data Modeling, Physical Data Modeling, User Interface Design, and Business Process Modeling.I am also a Professional Genealogist and Geni volunteer Curator, specializing primarily in Jewish families of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Russian Pale of Settlement. I am currently documenting the families in the 1830/1831 census for Sopron varmegye and the Jewish communities of Graz and Güssing (Németújvár), Austria. I use original sources mostly in French, German, Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, Polish, and Latin.
