Digital Program Manager
Working at Red Bull was rad. I had been a long time consumer of Red Bull's products, whether it was drinking an 8oz can before hitting the skate park or sitting down to watch the latest Travis Rice movie. While I was there I worked alongside a great group of people on the Red Bull TV and Wings for Life World Run teams. I was able to create customized processes around program planning and organization, release management, and scrum management. I established myself as the go-to individual for starting, supporting, and scaling award-winning streaming and sports applications with an average rating of 4.8 stars and 20M+ downloads across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Scrum Lead
The organization I was working in broke off and formed a new division of Cigna now known as Evernorth. Same team and responsibilities, but new name.
Scrum Lead
I was able to transition out of the TECDP early to secure a full-time position at Cigna as a Scrum Master. My responsibilities remained relatively the same and I was able to grow with the teams I supported.
Tecdp Lead Analyst | Scrum Lead
In my final rotation I pivoted to the project management side of things. While I loved getting into the weeds on complex projects, I wanted to get a better understanding of how these projects were planned and what impacts they would have to the business. In this role I managed many teams where I coordinated with key stakeholders across the enterprise to redefine, standardize, and automate release management practices. I was responsible for facilitating all aspects of Agile Project Management through ceremony facilitation, defect triage, Jira and Jira Align organization, and exercising organizational agility to collaborate with the appropriate teams. Also, I had the pleasure of working with the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation again to organize a special day for a child suffering from cancer and their family.
Tecdp Lead Analyst | Devops Engineer
For my second rotation I wanted to continue down the more technical path leveraging my passion to streamline how work got done. As a DevOps Engineer I helped develop the enterprise's CI/CD pipeline which led to 88,000+ production deployments within that year. Also, I assisted in the implementation of Ansible Tower, devised monitoring and reporting solutions, and provided continuous production support for a suite of DevOps products. In parallel, I co-lead a multi state recruiting program which acted as the primary funnel to obtain new employees for the TECDP.
Tecdp Senior Analyst | Infrastructure Engineer
This role marked my first rotation within Cigna's Technology Early Career Development Program or TECDP. As an Infrastructure Engineer I designed process automation to improve the reliability and performance of business critical customer facing websites and applications. In addition, our team provided operational support, guidance, and remediation for issues impacting various environments within the SDLC to avoid customer impact and outages. One of the major perks of the TECDP was that we were able to lead projects that extended beyond the technology organizations. For example, I was able to co-lead a golf outing in Pennsylvania which benefitted the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundational.
Iafa - Technology Consultant
My time with Protiviti started as a summer internship which grew to a part-time role during my senior year in college and eventually my first full-time job out of school. Consulting with Protiviti opened my eyes to a myriad of industries and ways of working. I was responsible for creating client deliverables, testing various controls according to major governing audit bodies, and offering remediation plans to ensure clients met their compliance goals. Little did I know, my future roles within technology would leverage a lot of experience I had while working with Protiviti. Plus, I was very fortunate to make some life long friends along the way.
Beverage Department Intern
My stint at the Union League was transformative. I had the privilege to work alongside some of Philadelphia's most talented folks in the industry. My nose was my biggest asset as I was underage during my post, so I learned how to communicate wine to Philadelphia's elite purely based on scent. Everyday brought about new opportunities... whether it was a private wine tasting with an up-and-coming vintner from Chile, an elaborate banquet for the Union League's members, or a celebration dinner for the Flyers. Suffice to say, it was a sweet gig while I was in college. I'm forever grateful for Brian McGowan's referral.
