Nominated in Commercial Observers 30 Under 30, Benjamin Stavrach, son of real estate mogul Joseph Stavrach, officially started his career in real estate at 19 years old. Unofficially, though, he’s been a part of the real estate community since he was very young, going into work with his father during summer and winter vacations. His experience spans the real estate acquisition and development markets, having started off as an associate at Safdi Plaza Realty.At Triangle Assets, Benjamin’s first year in the office was spent shadowing his father, learning the ins and outs of the New York City real estate market. By year two, Benjamin was already running his father’s 150,000sqft Diamond District office building, managing the day-to-day operations and working as the exclusive leasing agent for the midtown office property. By 21 years old, Benjamin became the primary leasing agent and manager for 369 Lexington Avenue and 255 West 36th Street, three of Triangle Assets’ biggest midtown office properties. He currently holds the title of Vice President of Development and Director of Leasing & Property Management.As the Director of Leasing & Property Management, Benjamin directs a number of day-to-day tasks, including listing and showing open spaces to prospective tenants and working with Triangle's construction team to help that prospective tenant envision how he/she will fit into the space, handling negotiations, taking care of new leases and lease renewals.Benjamin has been instrumental in the development of one of Triangle Assets’ newest projects, 305 East 44th Street, by negotiating 5 tenant buyouts in order to build the proposed 600 foot United National tower.
