Designed a Scala-based SASS platform to enable thatdot products as an AWS service. Other projects included a redesign of the product API, a standalone test framework, and integrations with external services.

As one of the original members of the Flow team, I designed the core distributed stream processing system (core java/scala/mongodb/elasticsearch/rabbitmq/redis) This system - dynamically balanced as processing nodes were added/removed - allowed users to upload javascript code that was run in sandboxed environments - featured a custom parser-generated filter language that applied filtering logic to the stream using simple-language queries - used a custom annotation based persistence layer that allowed simple objects to be added to the system hierarchy with minimal codingMicroservices supporting websockets, MQTT, REST, XMPP in scala and clojure Platform client libraries in ruby, python, java and C# Interviewing and hiring, technical mentoring, overall system architecture
