I am have completed my bachelors degree at the University of North Texas in computer science with a minor in mathematics and am seeking full time opportunities in software development, data analytics, and Information Technology with 2024/2025 start dates.I have spent the last five years developing a strong technical skill set. In both academia and industry settings, I have driven myself to learn as much as possible to help me achieve my career goals in the tech industry.During the summer between my junior and senior year I had the opportunity to intern with Caterpillar Inc. I had such an eye-opening experience during this time and learned so much. I was able to develop my presentation skills, help build solutions on a large scale business project, and learn what is required to succeed and achieve in a large corporate environment. Specifically my experience taking millions of terse data files and developing a dashboard to give immediate, actionable business insights in a clear and simple way, illustrated to me the power of data analytics in this industry and made me eager to pursue a career that utilizes these skills.While in college, I have also diligently worked in the food service industry to support myself. This work in a fast-paced and non-static industry combined with my educational skill set and industry experience, leave me more than prepared to boldly address the needs of potential clients as well as preform at the highest level in team environments.I view hard work and education in the same light; they are essential aspects of a truly successful life. Education offers near unlimited opportunities, expands knowledge as well as experience, and builds the leaders of tomorrow. These views on education encourage me to be all the more focused and committed to receiving the best education that I can possibly get; I work every day to master the material presented to me and build myself into someone prepared for the workforce. From my experience in the food service industry to my internship with Caterpillar, I have proved to be a valuable employee to several organizations and employers. I pride myself in my ability to persist in often difficult positions. One can be sure that I will not quit until I have fully mastered the tasks at hand. When I am not working, I enjoy watching baseball, cooking, and playing with my cat.
