Lead POS developer on several projects with teams of up to 12, including the introduction of: - eCommerce, the first major retailer to bring Web customers true, real-time access to brick and mortar store inventory (store pickup). - A margin-tracking system that improved margin management by categorizing markdown at the individual sales level into its several corporate and store markdown components. - Gift cards, integrating with an external vendor to allow in-store activation and redemption for a business worth $10’s of millions annually. - Co-branded Visa cards that, through promotional financing, drive hundreds of millions of dollars in annual sales. Later we incorporated all private label cards into a customer rewards program, further enhancing card value to the customer, increasing card-related sales, and improving customer loyalty.
