Member of a construction project-management team within a small General Contractor. I currently focus on housing and serve as the project engineer for buildings, both new construction and rehab, that will provide affordable rental housing within Chicago. I have a particular interest in historic preservation and adaptive reuse. My position currently centers on construction finance, site supervision, subcontract management, purchasing, estimating, LEED compliance, and project database management (centering around Meridian ProLog).

I am an Institutional IT technician, responsible for customer support, helping manage and troubleshoot a large inventory of media equipment (cameras, camcorders, audio equipment, etc.), while offering fast solution oriented computer troubleshooting and repair across a variety of platforms and supporting software ranging from statistical packages (Minitab, Stata, SPSS, Excel), to office and multimedia suites (MS Office, iLife, Adobe CS, Final Cut).

I worked as an intern within America's largest provider/developer of low-income housing. My worth with mercy concentrating on Low Income Housing Tax Credit and Historical Tax Credit funded development. Mercy Chicago also focused largely on the adaptive reuse of historic buildings (a huge point of fascination for me). I was able to participate in grant writing, various loan and line of credit applications, assorted elements of real estate finance, and preform market analysis.

As a general construction intern and pre-construction assistant I was afforded the chance to gain experience with several elements of the construction industry, while working within one of Chicago's most dynamic up-and-coming construction management firms. I collected subcontractor's bids, maintained a large project submittal database using both ProLog and Excel, managed technical and architectural drawings, and learned an enormous amount both adaptive reuse and new construction.

I worked for CNI and it's subsidiary micro-lender, CNIMFG in a variety of roles as an intern. I took part in grant-writing and originating small business loans to disadvantaged borrowers located in Chicago's South and West sides. I maintained a database of grantors and preformed demographic analyses of the neighborhoods in which CNI operated in the interest of analyzing the impact of the organization's various programs.

I hand-built all variety of ship's sails in one of the Midwest's' leading lofts. UK, like most quality lofts worldwide, operates with a time-tested artisan production model. Most work, save sewing, was completed on hands and knees, working with physical geometry and hand tools. Timeliness, independence, mindfulness of one's team, unwavering quality, stern adherence to the master sail-maker's instruction, and total customer satisfaction were of the utmost importance at all times.

Intern and multimedia teacher specializing in photography and Photoshop post-processing at Copenhagen Psychiatric Services' Support and Contact Center (SKC: Støtte-og Kontakt Centeret). Provide user support, socialization, and general assistance at the center.

Focus on underserved youth outreach through sailing. Taught dinghy and keelboat sailing in various settings with children and adults on the San Francisco Bay. I lead groups of various sizes in a wide variety of often high-stress learning environments. The position focused heavily on tight teamwork with coworkers and clear communication of complex subject-matter in a high-stress environment.

Taught sailing in a variety of setting to children, adults, and corporate groups during the summers of 2011 and 2012. Repaired company rental equipment, provided customer care and safety management. This position emphasized safety, clear and pleasant communication strategies, rental sales, and impeccable customer service.

Interned with Sail time's San Francisco franchise, offering keel boat instruction and timeshare yacht charter on a fleet of Hunter Sailing Yachts. Worked independently aboard the company fleet, cleaning and detailing vessels between use while simultaneously receiving general business instruction and learning about the intricacies of a charter business from franchise owner Lisa Chapin.

My first summer job: I was hired on after months of volunteering for the school's IT-department and I was able to learn the ropes of computer hardware and software repair, maintenance, network expansion and testing, and inventorying a large 400+ computer stock of equipment.
