Ben has handled copyright and trademark litigation for Harvard University, Meow Wolf Inc., the Conan Doyle Estate Ltd., the BBC, and others from Fortune 100 companies to startups and individuals. Ben also devotes substantial time to licensing, literary, motion picture and TV transactions, and has negotiated deals with CBS Television, the BBC, Paramount Pictures, Sony/Columbia Pictures, Hulu Japan, Random House, and many others. Ben is also frequently consulted on art law matters ranging from placing major archives to disputes over authenticity, title, and infringement.Ben has presented around the country on intellectual property and trial issues. He is admitted in New Mexico and New York, was a law clerk to the Honorable Paul J. Kelly, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Ben was Editor in Chief of the Notre Dame Law Review, and was also Editor in Chief of his undergraduate student newspaper, the Hillsdale Collegian. In his spare time, Ben enjoys running with his wife and occasionally serves as piano accompanist for his daughters.
