In this position, I meet potential students and answer any questions they might have, and I lead them on a campus tour. I also organize information into spreadsheets and optimize it for easy access.

I am a teaching assistant. I help students understand concepts better, create spreadsheets for my professor, and I help with class prep.

I have worked as the head of an irrigation crew at Oregon Turf and Tree Farms for two summers now (2020 & 2021). While in this position, I led a small team of men and we were in charge of watering the high quality product we sold. We worked 6 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday. I assigned tasks to people, checked how much product we were selling, talked with the manager about issues that arose, and personally ensured that our product was elite. I learned how to work with people with different work styles. Some people needed constant reaffirmation, and some people need a little bit more time than others.

I officiated soccer games at local elementary schools for 3 years. It was a fascinating experience to see how competitive some parents are. I developed skills of extreme patience with children as they sometimes need to have someone tell them the rules a couple of extra times before they completely understand them. I also developed a strong ability to shut out the outside world and the chaos that goes on. I had to develop this because I had to ignore parents screaming at me to call a foul every single time their child tripped on their shoelaces.
