I am a business graduate from St. Francis Xavier University with a major in finance. I am currently employed by Costco working in their head office and I am in the process of seeking full-time employment in Calgary to take the next step in my business career.First and foremost, I am a people person and have had great experience working with others. I pride myself in building relationships with those who cross my path whether it be inside or outside the workforce. I possess the skills to learn quickly and interpret information accurately. I have worked a variety of different positions that have provided me the opportunity to excel in customer experience, sales, and leadership. Through my time at Costco in their head office, I have worked alongside buyers to provide inventory for all of Canada to contribute to the billions in revenue each year. I have worked in various departments and will bring products from the idea all the way to storefront. Throughout the Pandemic, I was working with a smaller startup that would liquidate Hotels to consumers as well as wholesaling to businesses. The opportunity allowed me excel on the sales side of a company by attracting consumers to generate sales and negotiating the terms of sale. These two positions allowed me to see both sides of a sale and see how to be successful from both a buyer and seller standpoint. Furthermore, my experience in education as a substitute teacher allowed me to improve my leadership and presentation skills in a unique way through capturing the attention of a room both in person and online. I am detail-oriented, loyal employee and feel that my many experiences through work, school, volunteering, and sports, that I am well-prepared for anything that is thrown at me.
