About Ben Hawes

Over the past 10 years in NYC, I've been on a mission to help people have joyful and rewarding life experiences. This passion has led me to fall in love with people programs, learning and development (L&D), employee onboarding, engagement, retention, and more.I've spent years in L&D at ClassPass and as a learning consultant at LifeLabs Learning, where I've helped hundreds of companies build outcome-based employee development & experience programs. I pride myself on getting people excited and aligned around a goal or mission and on developing and nurturing team culture for new generations of employees.One of my favorite quotes is from author Shawn Achor: "Happiness is the joy we feel striving for our potential." This message has driven me in everything I do. Creating experiences that enable people to learn, grow, and feel at home in their roles has turned into a pretty cool career for me.When I'm not doing this, you'll find me performing musical comedy on stages around NYC or running my photo booth side hustleβ€”both of which serve my mission of bringing joy and meaningful experiences to others.But it's not all fun and games.
