My Story: After time in the Peace Corps (Guatemala), I developed skill as a bilingual corporate trainer and communications specialist. I currently have over 17 years of international experience as a trainer in federal, corporate, and community organizations. I speak Spanish, Portuguese and Kaqchikel Mayan and understand two other languages.Passions: I am known for my perspective-taking abilities and for my love for meditation practices. An avid student of Integral Philosophy, I have 12 years experience teaching "Authentic Relating" practices which combine meditation with communication practices. After attending hundreds of these groups, I created Navigate Change, LLC to spread these transformative practices by offering training in Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Relational Intelligence (RQ). These trainings improve communication skills, reduce burnout and solve team tensions.I engage in continuous education. Presently I am finishing (May 2025) my MBA at North Carolina State University to better serve my coaching and consulting clients. I also love AI, and have spent hundreds of hours learning ChatGPT, Perplexity, Unriddle, Midjourney and other AI platforms.I transitioned toward my passions in 2014, when I completed a clinical master's degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology at Naropa University, a Buddhist school offering programs focused on applications of Buddhist psychology and mindfulness. After ten years in business, I am an experienced event planner and retreat facilitator, having facilitated hundreds of small group trainings and workshops, including T-Group, Integral Circling (TM), Integral Relational Flow (TM), Alchemical Dreamwork, Authentic Relating, Men's Tantra, and other similar relational modalities. I am a skilled consultant and problem solver for organizations dealing with thorny conflicts and personnel issues, including extensive experience training people in how to have difficult conversations.
