Developed in C++ and Objective C to continue the creation of the Pipeline Mac clients, utilized in capturing and playing out professionaltdg level video formats through the Pipeline hardware (a network attached real-time transcoding device). Developed and maintained the third party SDK that was provided with the software, including a sample iOS application that triggered captures by the client machine through web service directives. Developed for the Episode and WMV products to help bring them to market quickly.

I founded a live streaming services company in 2010, Cognizant Productions LLC, along with a couple of my colleagues and produced several live streamed shows in various venues. This culminated in the creation of a custom web portal utilizing Amazon EC2 backend along with Heroku powered Rails app and development of a iOS app for the Nevada City Film Festival 2010 and 2011, that included a live stream, program guide, maps, biographies and trailers and several other features. I developed both the web and iOS presence for the production company. The event production required custom installation of streaming servers on Amazon Web Services EC2instances, creating private manifests for quick deployment, developing the end presentation; utilizing various open source players and then customizing those players for viewing the content on the web, finally running the show with multiple cameras, multiple streaming workstations and directing the setup and production of these shows (Nevada City Film Festival, Faun Fables).; Developed iPhone application utilizing CoreResource, ASIHttp, Heroku, Ruby on Rails, Wowza Streaming Server 2 in Amazon EC2 cloud as boilerplate product for film festivals. Developed web app, and all manifests needed to provide a streaming solution for multiple platforms, so that the business web presence could transform in to the next step of the business, a high content streaming site. Handled up wrapping up the business obligations at business termination.
