Engineers Australia represents over 100,000 members through Australia and overseas.As EGM Ben has responsibility for developing and implementing EA's strategic vision and plan, specifically this EGM role which brings together six business units, Business Development, Conferences and Events, Education and Training, International, National Partnerships and Products and Member Benefits areas into one Business Unit, working closely together to drive EA's revenue and growth.This role is heavily involved with the Engineering Industry through B2B relationships with large companies, SME's and the Tertiary sector. A key component of this role is the diversification or EA's revenue streams via innovative product offerings, including relationships with key partners such as Macquarie Bank; bespoke partnership offerings across membership and capability (including via EA's training and development business Engineering Education Australia), branding and customer reach; the launch and Directorship of EA's insurance business EngInsure; and the running of a large number of national and international conferences, including Australian Engineering Conference.

Engineers Australia represents over 100,000 members through nine divisions across Australia and through a number of overseas chapters.As EGM, Ben has responsibility for implementing Engineer Australia’s strategic vision and plan, specifically with responsibility for the nine geographical Divisions around Australia, the Business Development team and overseas Chapters. Divisions, led by Division General Managers are responsible for all member facing services including co-ordination of professional development and networking activity, marketing and communications, financial including sponsorship, member servicing and assistance to office bearers and groups. Divisions are also heavily involved with key stakeholders in government, education and industry. The Business Development team are the sales engine of EA, promoting in particular the Professional Chartered Engineer status and process through industry as well as working closely with other areas of membership to grow and promote EA.Overseas chapters and groups exist all around the world with the EGM role responsible for working with local comittees, office bearers and industry to continue to improve the services provided and look to grow where applicable.

2IC role across two national businesses, Loan Writing Solutions (NAB loans to Brokers and ongoing relationship managment) and MLC Mortgage Solutions (debt and banking services to Financial Planning industry).Work with sales teams, and key stakeholders including contact centre, finance, risk and compliance, technology, marketing, loan processing.

Responsible for retail outlets and staff across region, including branches, relationship bankers, Financial Planners, Business bankers and acquisition team.Sales and P&L responsibilty, total team approx 130.

Responsible for team of mobile lenders and branch based lending specialists, along with relationship bankers, financial planners and support staff. Sales, compliance, recruitment, pricing, performance management, P&L.

Commercial and residential lending sales to $10m to business customers via third parties (mortgage brokers and financial planners). Establishment and ongoing relationship of network, deal structuring and negotiating, credit and business analysis, team leadership.
