-Selected to lead the Foot & Ankle division upon close of the merger between Zimmer and Biomet in June 2015-Responsible for $127M global Foot & Ankle business including branding, marketing, product & portfolio management, engineering/R&D, quality, regulatory affairs and clinical operations-Portfolio included plates/screws, sports medicine, total joint replacement, advanced materials, and biologics-Improved YOY revenue from a combined -3% prior to the merger to +9% within 12 months post-close -Oversaw $6.4M annual operating budget as well as division capital expenditures-P&L responsibility within a matrix organization-Managed 17 team members directly and an additional 10 team members from various cross-functional teams -Transacted 1 asset purchase agreement to address a key product line gap-Participated and led division integration planning as part of Zimmer Biomet merger-Developed and launched new mission and brand statement for division: Technology that moves (still in use as of 2020)-Extensive executive presentation experience during quarterly business reviews, strategic and operational planning, annual budget cycles, and various M&A/L&A activity-Led initiative to reshape and refine key opinion leader (KOL) strategy to better align with strategic needs of the business -Set strategic plan and new product roadmap for the combined business-Redefined new product introduction (NPI) process and pipeline to better align with global market needs in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific-Partnered with commercial team to initiate the build-out of a dedicated sales channel
