As a music director at IO I have explored the emotional-narrative spectrum of music through spontaneous accompaniment to improvised performance.Theater is actualized in three phases: The composition of an idea, the interpretation of the performer, and the reception of the audience. Improv has all three elements happening simultaneously.In that same spirit, I have the challenge of composing, performing, and reacting simultaneously throughout an entire performance. It is great fun.

A good manager creates a vision of their restaurant's experience and empowers their employees to realize that vision for patrons.There have been several managers at Bar Pastoral while I have worked here, and in the interim phases I have offered to adopt additional responsibilities to help our restaurant thrive.
