Benedict is often known as an abstract and critical thinking individual having developed a set of academical principles from young. This has been greatly shown in his particular interest in planning and organising of activities and events such as an overseas trip with his friends and his involvement in extra co-curriculum activities.Intrigued by the manifestation of urban tapestry of his hometown in Singapore, street cartography had been a core development in the childhood of Benedict. It is by the virtue of his strong interest in street cartography that has brought him into the awareness of spatial order and the built environment. Coupled with his background as a student of humanities, Benedict approaches the realm of architecture as an integral relationship of spatial studies and society.Admittingly a childhood ambition, his approach of architecture has matured with his undergraduate studies and his recent travels to Japan, Spain and Indonesia. Where the ideal “perfection” of architecture has grown to encapsulate his experiences as an global architecture student exploring the harmony of architecture and humanities.
