Developing a planned approach to corporate fundraisingDeveloping strategic partnerships with key organisations and individuals to enhance Holdsworth’s non-government revenue sourcesDeveloping an knowledge of funding sources including government grants, corporate foundations, philanthropic trusts and local businessesPreparing, or assisting with the preparation of, funding applications and tendersWorking with the Corporate Relations Manager, CEO and Holdsworth Board to organise fundraising or community participation eventsDeveloping, planning and implementing a range of volunteer recruitment strategiesProviding effective induction, training, support and evaluation programs for volunteersDeveloping increased opportunities for volunteer involvement in the work of the CentreWorking closely with Program Managers to refer volunteers for placement in suitable work roles in Holdsworth programs and offer appropriate on-going support and connectionSupporting the enhanced involvement of volunteers across all programsWorking with the Community Relations Manager to engage with the wider community, including but not limited to schools, services clubs and businessesCoordinating student placements at the CentreMonitoring training needs of HCCS staff and coordinating delivery of training as requiredMaintaining appropriate recording and reporting systems Providing back-up support to the Community Relations Manager and other Managers/Coordinators when required
