Network Engineering Manager supporting Textron network services supporting multiple business.

During this role, I oversee daily network operations Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Government and Health Care while managing IT department operational and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, and organizing allocation of resources. I lead a top-performing team of Information Services professionals to support all aspects of information technology, systems, and service. I direct project management, application development, network infrastructure, security, telecom, business integration, and process improvement while administrating a capital budget of $6.2M. I develop and define IT enterprise architecture, including standards, technology, data, processes, functions, and capabilities to develop focused IT policies and cloud strategies with technology and application roadmaps that leverage opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize costs, where possible. A few of my notable accomplishments are mentioned below:►Reduced hourly rate from $195 to $125 an hour by negotiating contracts with vendors’ professional services. ►Negotiated and signed the Master Service Agreement for preferred pricing and services and achieved additional hardware discounts of over 6%. ►Increased headcount and reduced Operational budget by 30% by developing and implementing effective strategies.►Identified the need for skills improvement and delivered online training sessions to staff on Cisco ACI, Firepower, Collaborations, and SD WAN that advanced Cisco certifications.

In this role, I orchestrated priorities of IT personnel related to network/telecommunication projects by leveraging current solutions and technology trends and comparing future features in support of business requirements. I integrated Network Engineering, Information Security, and Help Desk in reducing technical risk by complying with policies and procedures for new Network implementation for Data Center and Office buildings for VoIP, and Wi-Fi, PCI, NAT, SNMP, and DNS. I directed all functions of Network Engineering including Palo Alto Firewalls Cisco ASA Firewalls, F5 Load Balancing, IT Security IPS, Web Filtering, and Disaster recovery (DR) application support. (Nexus 9K, 5K, 2K, 4500, 3750, ISR, ASR, ASA, Palo Alto). I orchestrated the Network designs for Data Center solutions VMware solution, Active Directory, Cisco, Azure, AWS, and Rackspace for IaaS, and PaaS.My key accomplishments during this role are as follows:►Identified project risks and developed contingency plans to support Network, Security, System, and Voice services.►Championed Infrastructure standards documentation for the new Data Center by migrating to the new data center for applications.

In this role, I directed Network Engineering operations across two data centers, office building, and four VoIP call centers. I led a team of 15 technology professionals to support daily operations of wired, wireless, video conferencing, Citrix, Web Hosting, Data Transfers, AD, VMware, Remote VPN, and Cisco UCS solutions. I collaborated with Problem Management to support company policies and defined network change procedures with a keen focus on streamlining network operations. I identified and resolved complex issues with ensuring accurate documentation through ServiceNow (SaaS). I developed security standards for Network, Telecommunications, Firewall, and DNS services in compliance with Disaster Recovery, SOX, PCI compliance, and security Standards. Network Redesign• Identified network IP addressing problem by re-addressing the LAN to utilize private IP address range. • Increased VoIP productivity by eliminating errors on multiple voice circuits.• Negotiate with vendors in providing a cost effective WAN solutions in support of our Call Centers and Enterprise connectivity needs. Telecommunication and Data Center• Implementation of new SIP VoIP solution for the Call Center by negotiating with vendors for a new solution and working within our Telecommunication contract.• Oversees the search to outsource our Data Center and system support by setting requirements and matching them to possible vendors.

Lead and coordinate the implementation support and network devices into the Global Network Operation Center (GNOC) support tools. Support Sprint trade shows by installing and supporting all of Sprint solutions including Internet, Frame Relay, Voice of Frame Relay, Voice and Video over ATM, and voice services at small and large shows.

As a field service technician I support all data connectivity at multiple building sights that included 3270, Apple talk, Ethernet hubs, and circuits. I installed the first Wellfleet routers at EDS before we moved to Cisco routers.
