I have had many great experiences through schooling and organizations within these schools. Most notably Delta Epsilon Chi/DECA. I was a high school member of DECA my senior year of high school. I took first place in my first ever competition in the food marketing event at our Regional Conference. I joined Collegiate DECA at NWTC. It has helped me grow as a professional as I have gained great knowledge from competeting and going to career development events. In Collegiate DECA I competed in the Entrepreneurship event which encompasses making a 10 page business plan and presenting it to a judge. I took second place at state and placed in the top ten at nationals. This event demonstrates someone's ability to handle all aspects of business because Entrepreneurship tests all fields. I inspire to someday become an entrepreneur.After much thought I decided to continue my education at the University of Wisconsin Stout were I will aspire to be a business and marketing teacher. In my first few years at Stout I was elected Director of Communications for the Marketing and Business Education Association. During my time in office I monitored the website and launched the organizations face book page.
