I am currently the lead for continuous improvement within the London Underground Fleet Maintenance and Renewals organisation. This involves leading and facilitating problem solving and improvement initiatives and influencing staff at all levels of the business to adopt new perspectives and challenge the status quo.Data analysis is integral to the role and I create dashboards and reports using the Microsoft Power Platform to visualise complex data to gain actionable insights.

Supporting the Track maintenance organisation in the introduction of Lean tools and methodology to empower front line staff to improve their work processes.I designed and developed a mobile app to enable front line teams to capture data to quantify non-value added activity with automated reporting to drive improvements, which I was invited to present to the international Community of Metros (COMET).

Providing technical support to the London Underground escalator maintenance teams, applying new and existing technology, problem solving techniques and data analysis to improvement asset performance.For three years I managed the lift and escalator engineering workshop with between 4 and 6 direct reports, providing a critical support function for major refurbishments, repairs and failures on the Bakerloo, Central and Victoria lines.

I undertook placements in Rolling Stock Engineering, Track Maintenance, Technical Services and Lifts & Escalators. I gained experience in product design, project and stakeholder management, testing and commissioning, change control and fault diagnosis.Training included teamwork, leadership, networking, presentation skills, time management and report writing.
