Works quite well in conjunction with the Internal EDI process.Dashboard Workflow - Conceived and implemented a new way to manage shipments via an existing process, implemented this new workflow and immediately saw a 40% increase in timely shipment status updates. Also created KPI measurements to be applied to this workflow that give our leadership Teams (both local and Corporate) visibility to what our Customer Service Teams are doing/not doing.Developed an FTL Broker Shipment Management System which has been used to efficiently manage over 8,000 FTL shipmentsPricing: Developed Excel tools to analyze and build Zone Tariffs for our Customers. Provided pricing for over 150 Customer RFQ's with a 30% win rate. Negotiated competitive blanket LTL rates and brought new carriers to our network, including: ABF R&L Carriers, Oak Harbor Freight Lines, Peninsula Truck Lines, Saia, FedEx, Ward Trucking, and UPS.Built a fully functional Consolidation Engine in Excel which analyzes up to 7000 shipments, determines which are "in route", calculates transit and load/unload time, and optimizes the shipments by removing any that result in missed pickups or deliveries. Historical analysis of all Scan Domestic (North America) shipments shows that through consolidation, we could have saved $3.5mil in freight costs.
