I am a Senior Accounting major at Florida Atlantic University and plan to become a CPA. I am seeking an internship to expend my knowledge and to gain hands-on experience in the accounting field, before I get a full-time job opportunity. I am interested in Auditing. My dedication, eagerness to learn, and passion for working in a team are among what I can offer to the internship position.My background includes more than two years of experience working in a retail store. In my currentjob, I work mainly as a Sales Assistant for K&G Superfashion Store. My patience is often noticed by different customers. I make a point of listening carefully to their demand, suggesting clearly the various products which are applicable to them in order to best satisfy their needs. Thus, I understand the importance of customer’s satisfaction and how beneficial it is to any company that provides service to clients. Initially I worked only in cashier's department , but because I am always asking questions and trying to learn new thing, I became one of their most versatile employee, being able to work in every department now. I know that same drive to learn will greatly contribute to my success in auditing practices.In my school, I am part of the Accounting Student Association club and the investor's club. I also attend a lot of workshops and conferences from some of the well-known accounting firms such as Deloitte, Grant Thornton and other experienced professionals in order to learn about and get more exposure from financial and accounting matters.I think that my effective interpersonal and communication skills, along with my experience makes me a great asset for auditing practices and I am excited to start exploring that career path.
