In the age of data, automation and now AI, marketing and communications has never been more complex. Just trying to keep up is half the challenge. Yet, in the midst of this rapid evolution, an important constant has remained—humans, as diverse and super-complicated as we may be. Even though the technology we use to get peoples’ attention is rapidly evolving – what captures it is pretty reliable. I think a simple rule can help. Treat others the way they want to be treated. Provide people the opportunity to consume content and information that is relevant and helpful to their lives, relationships and aspirations – in a way that is most comfortable and convenient for them. Strategic content marketing is one of the most effective ways to entice the attention of busy, bombarded and highly suspicious humans. If done well, it piques and serves a person’s existing interests, while building trust and affinity. I've been involved in many facets of this field, from multimedia production to designing integrated multi-platform campaigns. I currently specialize in organizational leadership and project management. My career has provided me with amazing opportunities to learn and grow professionally, and personally. I’ve come to realize that curiosity and collaboration can be the backstage pass to life. And since there’s so much more to learn and experience from this profession, I appreciate knowing that there’s another challenge just ahead.
