Facilitator for MDRC’s and Robin Hood Foundation’s full-scale demonstration and randomized control trial of an early math intervention for kindergarteners in 24 schools in NYC, managed by Bank Street College of Education.Participate in weekly trainings and supervision meetings with four fellow math facilitators delivering the same curriculum, discussing strategies for its implementation along with our understanding of the children’s development.Spend 90% of time in schools in low-income areas of Brooklyn: deliver curriculum to groups of 4 children in 3 different neighborhoods, meeting with each group 3 times a week for 40 minutes.Data collection and analysis: Complete logs after each session, tracking progress, attendance and engagement. English tutor in full-immersion language camps in various Italian cities. Instructed kindergarteners in Rome, students in their second year of middle school (seconda media) in Salerno, and third graders in Cori. Teaching is centered around play, songs and creative activities designed to bring children’s skills with English into an enjoyable and understandable environment.Training and certification for TEFL-TP (Teaching English as a Foreign Language through Theater and Play): Intensive one-week training in the city of Sanremo, in which English curriculum, games and songs, leadership development, group management and strategies towards planning and structuring weeks at camp are taught. The first three weeks of instructing at English Camps serve as a mandatory fieldwork period towards becoming certified.

Facilitating interviews with prospective students who show interest in applying to Sarah Lawrence. Writing short synopses of these interviews afterwards, which are taken into consideration in the admission process as part of students’ applications. Organizing on-campus overnight visits for applicants and admits, pairing them with current student hosts.

Managing sound and making recordings of live concert performances taking place at Sarah Lawrence.
